In 2017 my brother and I established an e-commerce business after living and working in Australia for over 2 years. Having been an electrician for over 10 years, it was daunting to leave a safe job to start my own business, but I have honestly never looked back.

Since the company's creation, we have moved the business from our kitchen table into an 8,000 square foot commercial setting and now employ several staff. In 2019, we won an eBay for business award opening a world for us to gain new insight into selling online. This allowed me to work closely with specialist teams within eBay ultimately building our business.

In 2020 lockdown hit the world but for us, we were able to spend this time developing a new line of products, working with local suppliers and launching on eBay. This time allowed me as a business owner to slow down and take time to analyse the mechanics of selling on eBay and apply this knowledge on to a multitude of different platforms, in-turn extending our catalogue of products worldwide.

This year alone I navigated my company through the highs and lows of lockdowns, Brexit and the economic problems facing most businesses. You can feel confident that I really have seen it all at this point, and I am a better business owner for it.
